Driftless Farms LLC

Driftless Gold Pure Maple Syrup is a family-owned maple operation located in Wisconsin’s Kickapoo Valley, with roots dating back over 150 years. The business is built on a long-standing tradition of managing and tapping a family-owned sugarbush originally established by early settlers in the late 1800s.

In 2015, Scott and Erica Walter expanded the operation by constructing a dedicated sugarhouse, installing a modern evaporator system, and increasing sap collection capacity. This marked the official launch of Driftless Gold as a commercial maple syrup producer.

As of 2025, the next generation—Connie Walter and Eli Allen—has joined the business and is actively involved in production and long-term management of the operation.

Driftless Gold produces pure maple syrup using sap collected from its managed woodland, with a focus on consistent quality, efficient production methods, and responsible land stewardship.
