The story of Stewart’s Blocks and Boards begins with our owner and maker, Jim Stewart. His love for woodworking started at a young age, sparked by the hours he spent alongside his Uncle Michael. As a high school industrial arts teacher, Michael didn't just teach Jim the craft; he spent his career inspiring thousands of young minds. The lessons Jim learned in his uncle's workshop became the foundation for a lifelong passion. Now, with more than three decades of experience, Jim’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that every piece leaving our shop is crafted to perfection.
