About Us
Hartland Organic Family Farm is dedicated to community based food systems while minimizing our carbon footprint to better the environment. We collect food waste from local businesses, and compost or vermicompost it into nutrient rich soil. We sell the vermicompost as an organically made, all natural fertilizer.
We believe in bettering the community by working with it to minimize the impact of food waste in landfills. Through this cooperative process we can provide healthy and nutritious food year round. Since our food is grown locally year round, the community can have the satisfaction of knowing their produce is economically reasonable and environmentally sound.
