COOL SCHOOL Hosted by Hanah Jon Taylor - A Free Improvising Music Workshop for Young Students

Cool School is a FREE weekly jazz improvisation workshop targeted towards kids (although anyone can attend) that gathers every Saturday morning. Every week, we will concentrate on one specific instrument family. We will have a general session and then break up into smaller groups for more in-depth instruction with various instructors. Stay tuned for more information on what instruments will be the focus and on what days. Ages 7-13 will be the first group at 10 AM; advanced and/or older students attend the second group at 11:00 AM. There would be a short jam session for kids after the workshop if time allows. No experience is necessary and instruments are provided to those who need them. ?????? Free events.
