Nick Moran - bass, Yorvanis Duran & Paddy Cassidy on percussion Richard Hildner Armacanqui grew up in Madison WI playing Peruvian Andean guitar styles with his grandfather and uncles. He then studied Jazz under the mentorship of Theloneous Monk's saxophonist Paul Jeffrey and studied in the Black Music ensemble under Prof. Richard Davis. After a visit to Madison by one of the leading world exponents of the Afro-Peruvian cajon, Juan Medrano Cotito, he went on to study and play extensively with him and also studied with the legendary Afro-Peruvian guitarist/bassist/composer, the late Maestro Carlos Hayre. Having played nationally and internationally Richard believes in creating spaces with music and art where cultures can understand each other perfectly as one community.
