Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation’s (GLHF) inaugural Green Bay’s Best Bloody contest will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Resch Center, 820 Armed Forces Drive, Green Bay, WI 54304, from 11:30 am to 3 pm – right across from Lambeau Field! Green Bay area bars and restaurants will showcase their signature Bloody Mary mix and garnish while participants vote for the winner and ultimate title of Green Bay’s Best Bloody! Early bird tickets go on sale Memorial Day, Monday, May 30! Go to glhf.org/events or https://www.eventbrite.com/e/green-bays-best-bloody-tickets-339163676687 for information. Hemophilia and von Willebrand disease are rare bleeding disorders that impact more than 3,600 Wisconsin families. They face many challenges — psychosocial, financial, and physical. GLHF’s mission is to educate, support and advocate for the bleeding disorders community of Wisconsin. Our vision is a life without limits for people and families living with a bleeding disorder. DRINK LOCAL. Green Bay bartenders showcase their signature Bloody Mary recipes while guests enjoy beer chasers, appetizers and vote for their favorite Bloody Mary! Unfortunately, in 2020 and 2021 we had to cancel this event due to COVID. But this year we’re back and in-person! Learn more including some of this year’s contestants! GIVE LOCAL. Proceeds from Green Bay’s Best Bloody helps support programs like Camp Klotty Pine – a camp hosted by GLHF for children living with a bleeding disorder; Family Camp; the Wisconsin Bleeding Disorders Conference; Wisconsin Legislative Day; educational scholarships; emergency patient financial assistance; and more. In addition to funds raised to support local programs and services, GLHF is part of a national awareness campaign to help the estimated 1-2% of the population who have a bleeding disorder get a proper diagnosis. Ticket information is available on our website: glhf.org/events or https://www.eventbrite.com/e/green-bays-best-bloody-tickets-339163676687. All tickets include a samples of every participating bar and/or restaurant, as well as appetizers and beer chasers.
