Join birding expert Mike McDowell on an early morning hike through Pope Farm Conservancy to observe the behavior of birds who are preparing for or already in the process of migrating south. Along the tour, Mike will share tips and techniques for identifying and observing these birds who stop here for much needed food and rest during their long journey south. Pope Farm Conservancy is part of a more extensive area that has important habitat for wildlife. The conservancy's agricultural crops, prairies, and different vegetative areas create a great diversity in food source and habitat. This tour is free and open to the public. No registration required. Don’t forget to bring binoculars, wear comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather. Share on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/629013748651561
